Things have been so busy! OMG!
WE are as of right now getting ready for the mother daughter banquet, camp, camp meeting, youth trip to California, and I am getting ready for finals! AAHHH!! I only have 4 left. 2 are easy easy and 2 are going to be difficult. Everyone pray! I am taking summer classes online so it is not like I will be doing much of anything! We are all getting ready for Easter! Busy, busy, busy!

I got my Easter outfit! Yay!! I love this time of year!

This weather is freaking out! I mean really! Anyways, Luke is giving his 2 weeks notice Friday! He is picking up a lot of lawn work, which is great. If you need any yard work, you can call him up! :) I put some pictures of a pond he built up on here... Then we made our way to Last Call Neiman Marcus and found some GREAT deals. Kate, I was going to send you a picture of a gorgeous Easter dress but, I couldn't get my phone to work... Then we came back to the house and got dressed and went to a youth rally at Bro. Bernard's church. Wayne Francis prached and he did amazing of course! We went and ate at Benihana's and went home. Friday, we went to eat at Flip Happy Crepes. We found out about it because Bobbie Flay had a throw down and lost to them! They are that good! Then, yet again, we went to Last Call so Jenn could pick up some erns for her wedding. Pretty awesome but very hectic!

I am ready for our youth group to change. I guess this came over me when Wayne was preaching but, I am just ready for change. I know, I sound like Obama but I really am. I am ready for a youth group who is not afraid to live what they believe. Wayne preached about young people being able to change the atmosphere by lifting their hands and worshipping. He talked about Global Warming and how everyone is worried about the earth getting too hot and he talked about in the spiritual world how it is not hot enough. I am ready for our youth to get back on board and lets do something for God!

ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-19172615731444042252009-03-19T08:59:00.000-07:002009-03-19T09:06:29.873-07:00Happy DaysI am at work catching up on blogs for Kate! ;) I have taken on a new position in the church which is kind of exciting! Luke and I are now the Jr. Youth Leaders. I am really thrilled that everyone sees me as capable to mold and help young innocent minds!!! It's crazy! Anyways, tonight we have Expressive worship practice and Daughters of Zion prayer for the Pastor's wife. Busy busy busy! Tomorrow night we are going to a youth rally in Santa Fe. Then Saturday we have a church wide Community Car Wash. It is going to be fun! :) I'm excited. Then Saturday night, I want to go to the Rodeo carnival! YAY!ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-36155448807283285912009-03-19T08:51:00.000-07:002009-03-19T08:59:05.688-07:00Monday, Monday, La La La La LaMonday, I slept in and then Luke came and picked me up. We went and ate at La Madeleine. We had fun and enjoyed spending time together. Then we went to Froberg's and we hand-picked strawberries. We bought herb plants and seeds. Luke is going to make a garden in his backyard that way he will have fresh herbs and vegetables and even fruit! We had a lot of fun!
Then we went and met my family at Discovery Green in Downtown. It was a lot of fun! :) We went and ate at The Grove. It was yummy!ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-42823380150292168872009-03-19T08:47:00.001-07:002009-03-19T08:47:34.515-07:00ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-23615622556961530352009-03-19T08:31:00.000-07:002009-03-19T08:47:25.676-07:00Weekend BluesI had a pretty good weekend. Friday night I hung out with Brittany. We went and ate at Cyclone Anaya's in Houston on Grey and Bagby. It was amazing! Luke wasn't feeling very good so me and Brittany went without him. He didn't want me to stay there with him. He wanted me to go out and have a good time. He loves me! ;)
Saturday, I went to Bro. Ramsey's funeral. It made me realize how short and simple life is. Our life literally is a flash in a long timeline of history. I will never get to hear him sing "Good Old Gospel Ship" again. It is kind of sad.
Then Saturday night, I went to Kate and Josh's house while Luke was at work. April and Jay were there and I was a single! :) I played with the babies and talked to the girls. Then Jay and April left and I stayed like an annoying single ;) helping Josh and Kate think of something to talk about for Sunday School.
We had fun on Sunday and I think the kids did too! Josh did good talking about the different masks people put on whether they be at school, home, or church. Then afterwards, we went to eat at Gringo's.ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-43824582121615784072009-03-13T08:45:00.000-07:002009-03-13T09:12:17.760-07:00Crazy weekThis week began with me waking up late for my first class on Monday so I skipped it. Only to find out that we had a review in that class for the test we had on Wednesday. I got to my Zoology class and realized we had a test in lecture on Wednesday too! By this point I am freaking out. I signed onto Blackboard to check my grades only to find out that I have 2 MORE tests to do by tomorrow. I have done one and I should be working on the other right now instead of blogging. I studied ALL night Tuesday night after choir practice with no sleep. I feel like I did good on both of the tests. It was just a long hard week. I went to the Rodeo last night and I saw Brad Paisley!! He was INCREDIBLE and UNDENYABLE MY FAVORITE singer/guitarist/songwriter EVER!!! I even bought a tshirt. How clishe! Lol... He really was amazing. I just sat in awe most of the time! He actually came and stood right in front of my section and I was on row F! I took a video and a picture of him! I even joined the fan club! We had a fun time yesterday. I went with my whole family. My brother too! He is on his Spring Break like me! Oh, heavenly Spring Break! It came right when I needed it! Tonight we are going to hang out with Josh and Kate, well, at least, I think! :)ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-66207029120867047182009-03-13T08:35:00.000-07:002009-03-13T08:44:56.758-07:00Last Week...So, I have had a pretty hectic few weeks which is why I am successfully worn out. I know I haven't blogged in a while so I decided I would so that I don't get harassed by Kate and Jody! :) Last Wednesday, I went to Sugarland for Ladies Conference. Jody and I were Ladies Conference virgins and so we went together! ;) I got there Wednesday to set up all the media. My sister did most of the work and I just sat there and watched. The next morning came kind of early since I got NO sleep. There was too many movements and lights being turned on and off to sleep. I got up the next morning after about 5 hours of sleep. I met with the guy who was going to help me do image magnification. He fixed everything! :) The services were great! Janice Sjostrand was my absolute, all time favorite. Lajoyce Martin was pretty funny too. Jennifer Cobb was so nice and when she spoke, I really had to think. She was so deep in the word that it shocked me as to what could come out of scripture! She was awesome! My weekend completed with hanging out with Luke's mom and sister-in-law. We had fun! We didn't do much of anything. We went and ate and took a trip to Sam's. We cleaned Luke's kitchen top to bottom and decided to leave his room for himself. Sunday, we went and ate lunch with maw maw and paw paw before they had to leave and Luke had to go to work. My weekend was nice. Then this week started...ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-10937646904986274132009-02-26T13:08:00.000-08:002009-02-26T13:29:27.615-08:00This week...Okay, so, I have been running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I have been up since 6 o'clock. I went and observed a first grade class this morning and I am pretty sure I know what I want to teach. I love first grade. The kids are just getting their own personalities and they are developing emotionally and mentally into who they are going to be. I love it!

I know I haven't blogged in a few days but I have been busy busy busy!

For Valentine's Day, Luke came over and made me breakfast. I woke up to the smell of roses sitting by my bed... and the sound of the fire alarm. :)

He made eggs, biscuits, and bacon. He had a side of fruit and pomegranate juice.

It was yummy yummy yummy.

Then he went to work and I went to the mall and Target. I got some good headbands!

Then I went with my mom to pick up her new car. It is BEAUTIFUL!

Then we at something and came back to the house. My whole family cooked and we all had a blast!

This is going to be a busy week.

I had a Zoology test yesterday, I have a American Popular Music test tomorrow, I have an observation paper due tomorrow, and a Zoology lab test tomorrow.

I am also going to the Lakehouse this weekend! I am thrilled! Me and Luke may stay the whole weekend. We haven't decided.

Bye bye for now! I have WAY more important things to do!ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-54143586867786510672009-02-11T12:38:00.000-08:002009-02-11T12:53:39.053-08:00Memorial...Last night I went to a memorial service for a lady names Linda Lillie who I wish I so desperately could have known. Everything everyone said made her seem more and more interesting. She seemed like a strong lady. She got a brain tumor when she was 24 years of age and had sixteen 10-hour surgeries and sustained major nerve damage in her face. She was 30 years old when God completely healed her. I feel I could have learned so much from her and I hate she passed before I got that chance.

While I was at the service, Gary Ware came up and was talking to me. He told me that when I was little, he said a prayer over me one night when I was just a baby. He said I had such a strong anointing on my life and that when I was little, my mom didn't know what to do with me! :) I didn't know how to handle and honestly I still don't. He told me that he saw a vision about me a few weeks ago. It took him back to the time he prayed for me. He told me that God compared me to a caterpillar. He said over the last few months I have been in the ca coon and God has been changing me and my heart. He told me I am in the last few stages of change and when it is finished, I will be a new person. He had no idea how much I needed to hear that. For the past few months, it has been struggle after struggle. I haven't understood why everything has been so difficult and when he told me that, I realized, it's God trying to change me.

I know I don't have a brain tumor or anything like that but I believe that my prayers and situations are just as important to him as anything else. I now know that God is doing a work in my life just like he did in Sis. Lillie's. I only wish that someday I will measure up to be half the woman Linda Lillie was.ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8427535891302615874.post-38462752995340000082009-02-10T08:47:00.000-08:002009-02-10T09:00:47.313-08:00Slow Day
Today has been a pretty slow day. I slept in pretty late, well till about 8:30. I got up and got dressed and went upstairs to wait for my mom. Whil I was up there, I got on her computer and I saw the most beautiful Valentine's flowers I have EVER seen. It was an arrangement with white lillies and red roses. It was gorgeous. I then proceeded to look at wedding bouquets and that was kind of fun. Nothing really exciting.

Luke took Randy to court today. He was going to get time, about 10 months. Somehow the guy pressing charges "disappeared" and so they had to reschedule Randy's court date. Luke is such a sweetheart. He drove Randy there at 6:00 this morning.

Last night me and Luke painted antoher wall in his room. There was so much clutter it started getting to me. So, not only dsid I unload all the boxes in the kitchen, but I also, cleaned Tim's room, put all his close going the same direction, put the in color coded order and vacuumed. Oh the wonders of being OCD. Luke pulled out the washer and dry and the refrigerator and we almost threw up. He cleaned that! We marked the places for the stripes in his wall. We are trying to get everything ready so when his mom and sister-in-law come down in March, it will actually look like a nice house.

I'm sitting at work, procrastinating because I don't want to take my American Popular Music Test. BORING. I'll be back later.

Thank you Kate for getting me started on this! Just one more thing I have to keep up with! :)
ken_zeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05283908961633994471noreply@blogger.com1
